Ginger Lychee Blossom

The Ginger Lychee Blossom is a vibrant and refreshing cocktail that embodies the essence of springtime. Its bright and floral flavors make it a perfect choice for enjoying during the warmer months.

This cocktail combines the crisp botanical notes of Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin with the subtle warmth of Ginger Liqueur. The addition of fresh Lemon Juice adds a zesty brightness that balances out the sweetness of the Lychee Juice. A dash of Orange Bitters adds depth and complexity to the drink, enhancing its aromatic profile.

The result is a harmonious blend of flavors that dance on the palate, reminiscent of blooming flowers and sunny days. The floral undertones from the gin and the delicate sweetness of the lychee create a beautifully balanced cocktail that is both refreshing and invigorating.

Cocktail Inspiration

"I was considering the gin based cocktails I had made before for this challenge and submitted this one so that more people are aware of the versatility of Ginger Liqueur and know how well it pairs with the Glendalough Gin. The lemon juice and orange bitters in the cocktail added welcoming citrus notes. I chose lychee juice to balance the spicy notes of the liqueur and create a flavorful, yet delicate, cocktail that’s perfect for a spring day (my inspiration for the name is our cherry blossoms). Lychee juice is now readily available at grocery stores and I enjoy keeping it for my home bar."
