Forefather

1 min reading time

A reverent nod to tradition with a distinctly Japanese twist, Forefather reimagines the Godfather cocktail as a tribute to Masataka Taketsuru — the pioneering spirit behind Nikka and modern Japanese whisky. Rich and contemplative, this version blends the deep, oaky intensity of Nikka from the Barrel with the plum-kissed elegance of Choya 23°, then lifts it all with a delicate whisper of sakura bitters. It’s a drink that honors those who came before — bold, balanced, and quietly powerful.
