The inspiration behind this cocktail, as explained by bartender Lin Yu Tim, in Vancouver, BC, “inspired by an experience with my wine-loving friend who dislikes bourbon, I decided to create a new experience for her. Utilizing the unique terroir of Canadian rosé wine and its berry & stone fruit characteristics, I crafted a special cocktail. Although she dislikes bourbon whisky, I incorporated it to add a unique twist. This drink captures Canada’s distinct flavors, blending elements she loves with the complexity of bourbon, ensuring a sophisticated and memorable experience.“
