Birdsong

A cocktail that sings! Redbreast 12 gets lifted with the herbal warmth of Benedictine, the deep fruit of Averna, and bright orange bitters. Stirred to perfection and served with an orange twist that flutters like a bird, it’s a beautifully balanced, bittersweet sip that lingers long after the last drop.

Cocktail Flavor Camps

The inspiration behind this cocktail, as explained by bartender Randy Walker, “Redbreast is an all-time favourite whiskey of mine for a number of years, so I was very excited to craft a cocktail with it as the prime ingredient. I was looking for ingredients that brightened and enhanced the dark fruit notes of the spirit. The Averna Amaro sweetens the flavour and also provides some subtle bitterness. The herb and spice notes from the Benedictine also enhance the underlying spirit and help it sing.”
