The inspiration behind this cocktail, as explained by Short Pours creator Christopher Spencer, “I love a good Old Fashioned and I love a good sherry-bomb whisky. This is my riff on an old fashioned trying to enhance Redbreast’s sherried richness.”

Ingredients
2.0 oz Redbreast 12 Year
0.5 oz Pedro Ximénez Sherry
0.25 oz Demerara syrup
2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 dash Chocolate Bitters
Garnish: Orange Peel
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker, stir with ice.
- Pour over a large ice cube.
- Express with orange peel, drop it in the drink!
