  • Appearance: Burnt caramel
  • Aroma: Initially on the nose this whisky is floral (roses/violets) and fruity (plums/fruit leather). After the initial waft, notes of caramel, nougat, walnuts, allspice, cinnamon and milk chocolate come through.
  • Taste & Mouthfeel: Black pepper, cocoa, peaches, toffee, more fruit leather, ginger, coffee, tobacco leaf, concord grape jelly and a hint of balsamic dance on the palate.
  • Finish: The finish is rich, roasted and long.
  • Distinctiveness: Absolutely a stunning single malt, that blind, may be mistaken for a single malt Scotch.
  • Overall Drinkability & Balance: This bottle is perfect for a fall/winter dram.
