A bold and aromatic cocktail designed to evoke the spirit of the outdoors, Smoky Orchard blends the floral essence of Glendalough Wild Rose Gin with Aperol’s bittersweet depth and a touch of orange liqueur. The key to its complexity? A smoked rocks glass that enhances the drink’s rich citrus and spice notes, making it a perfect fireside sipper. Whether you’re dreaming of summer camping trips or crisp autumn evenings, this drink delivers a sophisticated yet rugged experience.

Cocktail Flavor Camps

The inspiration behind this cocktail, as explained by home bartender Randy Walker, “when optimistically looking forward to spring and summer I was looking to create a rich cocktail with flavour and aroma to evoke camping. The orange pairs wonderfully with the gin and the smoke adds a delicious level of complexity. Although this may be more complicated to drink than a beer when camping, it is well worth the effort!
