- *Banana Syrup:
2 Bananas (sliced and pre-frozen)
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Distilled Water
Take the frozen bananas from the freezer and thaw them. Add the sugar and water and let sit 24 hours to extract the juice from the fruit.
It will be thick, but strain this without forcing the banana bits through the strainer. Having patience leaves a better product in this case. Store in the fridge until further use. - **Acidifed Orange Juice: 5% solution
95g Orange Juice
5g Citric Acid = 5% by weight citric acid
Juice the oranges and double strain to remove the pulp. Add the citric acid and stir to dissolve. Store in the fridge for further use.
