- Aroma: Initially on the nose this whisky is floral (roses/violets) and fruity (plums/fruit leather). After the initial waft, notes of caramel, nougat, walnuts, allspice, cinnamon and milk chocolate come through.
- Taste & Mouthfeel: Black pepper, cocoa, peaches, toffee, more fruit leather, ginger, coffee, tobacco leaf, concord grape jelly and a hint of balsamic dance on the palate.
- Finish: The finish is rich, roasted and long.
- Distinctiveness: Absolutely a stunning single malt, that blind, may be mistaken for a single malt Scotch.
- Overall Drinkability & Balance: This bottle is perfect for a fall/winter dram.
