Cocktail Flavor Camps
A buck cocktail is a type of mixed drink typically made with a base spirit (such as bourbon, vodka, or gin), citrus juice (usually lime or lemon), and ginger ale or ginger beer, resulting in a refreshing and slightly spicy beverage. There’s something about bubbly, longer format cocktails that are so refreshing in the summer and this is no exception. Made with s soba-cha, or buckwheat tea syrup to play off of some of the notes from the Bourbon, this cocktail is citrusy, spicy, bubble, boozy… it’s got it all.
PS – For the record, buckwheat is a nutrient-rich, gluten-free seed often used as a grain alternative, known for being suitable for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity due to its lack of gluten proteins.
