- Appearance: Dark Topaz - The bottle design definitely jumps out on a shelf.
- Aroma: The nose is rich with dried fruit and umami notes. Chocolate brownies, deep sherried fruits, dried figs, vanilla and a touch of soy sauce and roasted peppers.
- Taste & Mouthfeel: On the palate, more rich sherried fruits, chocolate, cola spices and vanilla.
- Finish: The finish is long and there is a lovely level of spice and chocolate that lingers.
- Distinctiveness: Highly distinctive from Cognac.
- Overall Drinkability & Balance: The price for quality of this bottle is outstanding! The profile is complex and reminiscent of oxidative sherried fruits.
