about the cocktail

Bright Side of Dill was a finalist in our Bring the Bright cocktail challenge in August 2026. Created by Toronto mobile mixologist Matt Sinagoga (@mixology_matt), this garden-fresh highball brings together Altamura vodka, dill-infused dry vermouth, toasted cumin syrup, lemon and celery bitters, topped with soda. Matt explains, “This summer, I’ve been experimenting more with vegetal flavours and looking beyond the usual citrus and fruit for inspiration. Exploring the incredible produce at my local farmers’ market has pushed me to think about cocktails through a fresher, greener lens. [Bright Side of Dill] brings together dill, celery, cumin and lemon to create a cocktail that is bright, refreshing and layered with savoury character. The Altamura Vodka provides a beautiful foundation, while the fresh, garden-inspired flavours showcase a different kind of brightness and the feeling of summer.”
