The inspiration behind this cocktail, as explained by David Kandal, Bar Manager at Chickadee Room, “the Bananamour pays due respect to the historic French craftsmanship found in every bottle of Hennessy, while elaborating on the fun, tropical flavour notes found therein. This cocktail is easy to make, with low-cost ingredients that are readily available from your corner store and guaranteed to please any guest. Tropical flavours from the banana liqueur, coconut water and lime prelude the gentle spices from Angostura bitters and ginger beer, but they all fly under the flag of Cognac, with Hennessy VS forming the backbone of this refreshing beverage.“
