A Week of Celebration
Canadian Whisky Week offers whisky fans worldwide the chance to connect, discover, and share their appreciation for Canadian whisky. The event welcomes everyone—whether you’re a seasoned expert or just whisky-curious—to raise a glass and join in the festivities.
The highlight of the week will take place on Thursday, January 16, when the Canadian Whisky Awards will announce the best whiskies in Canada for 2025. This prestigious event will shine a spotlight on the craftsmanship and excellence of Canada’s whisky makers, providing an exciting moment for fans and distillers alike.

How to Participate
The celebration is designed to be simple, inclusive, and accessible for anyone, anywhere. Throughout the week, participants are encouraged to:

About the Canadian Whisky Awards
Held annually in conjunction with the Victoria Whisky Festival, the Canadian Whisky Award are the first and only competition dedicated solely to Canadian whisky. The Awards have become the first stop for whisky producers, distributors, retailers and fans looking for the very best Canadian whiskies. This year’s awards gala will be held in Victoria, BC, on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
