Reifel Rye honours George H. Reifel, the legendary master distiller who was instrumental in establishing Alberta Distillers’ house style more than 75 years ago.
TL;DR This spicy, fruit-forward rye is great value for price point.

Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Mahogany; The Bottle itself would stand out on a shelf.
- Aroma: Peppery spice, menthol, dried cranberries, ginger, nutmeg, a Skor bar (toffee, chocolate), wildflower honey, whiffs of tropical fruit.
- Taste & Mouthfeel: Zesty and mouthwatering, prickly black pepper, dark cocoa, charred, bitter oak, leather, citrus.
- Finish: Chalky dark cocoa powder coats the palate and lingers.
- Distinctiveness: It stands out but could definitely be pegged as a high rye Canadian whisky.
- Overall Drinkability & Balance: Great for a sub-$50 whisky! Easy to sip or to cocktail with.
