Cocktail Flavor Camps

The Netflix & Chill cocktail features a dynamic mix of fruity, sweet and citrusy ingredients that are contrasted by creamy brown-butter washed Amontillado sherry and is garnished with popcorn. Now you just have to choose which movie pairs best.

Flavor Camps: Fruity, Sweet, Creamy

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Angel's Envy Rye Finished in Rum Casks

  • 0.5 oz Butter-Washed Amontillado Sherry*

  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 0.75 oz Vanilla Syrup

  • 2 dashes Toasted Coriander Tincture**

  • Garnish: Buttery Popcorn

Directions

  • Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously with ice.
  • "Dirty dump" aka dump the entire contents into a 12oz juice cup with a lid. Place the cup inside a popcorn container and top with popcorn & a straw.

Notes

  • *Butter-Washed Amontillado Sherry: Melt 1/4 cup of buttter in a saucepan stirring frequently until the butter starts to brown & become nutty in aroma. Remove from heat and whisk in 225ml of sherry. Let sit at room temperature for an hour then refrigerate overnight. Use a fine strainer or cheese cloth to strain out butter. This should yield enough for approximately 15 cocktails!
  • **Toasted Coriander Tincture: On low to medium heat toast 3 tbsp whole coriander pods until they become aromatic and slightly browned. Add to 150ml of high-proof vodka or ever clear. Let sit for at least 48 hours to extract flavor (the longer the better). Strain out pods before using!
