Created by home bartender Ryan Stobnicky, this cocktail was one of the top four finalist recipes for the Flavor Camp Tequila Cocktail Challenge in April 2024. As noted by Stobnicky, the inspiration behind this cocktail was “driven by the desire to cater to guests seeking a lighter and more approachable tequila-based cocktail, suitable for any occasion or season. This cocktail aims to provide a refreshing and versatile choice for those looking to delve into the world of tequila cocktails, offering a balance of flavors that is both sophisticated and easy-going, making it suitable for all moods and seasons.”

Recipe by Ryan Stobnicky (Toronto, Ontario)Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients

  • 1.75 oz Casamigos Blanco Tequila

  • 1.0 oz Luxardo Bitter Bianco

  • 0.5 oz St. Germain Elderflower

  • 2 Generous dashes of Bokers Bitters

  • Lemon oils expressed over cocktail

Directions

  • Build all ingredients into a mixing glass, stir to approximately 20-25% dilution
  • Strain into chilled Nick & Nora glass
  • Express lemon oils over cocktail and garnish with a lemon zest
