TL;DR: A delightfully unusual gin infused with cucumber and rose, delivering a crisp, floral, and refreshing twist on the classic London Dry style.
Hendrick’s Gin isn’t your average gin—it’s a whimsical blend of tradition and eccentricity. Distilled in small batches in Scotland, this beloved spirit is infused with the curious combination of rose and cucumber, adding a refreshing, floral elegance to its classic juniper-forward base. The result? A smooth, well-balanced gin with delicate botanicals, citrus brightness, and a crisp, clean finish. Whether enjoyed in a G&T with a slice of cucumber or shaken into a creative cocktail, Hendrick’s brings an unmistakable charm to every sip. Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Clear, Clean
- Aroma: Lightly aromatic, floral and sweet on the nose. Cucumber, a slight salinity and very faint hint of juniper.
- Taste & Mouthfeel: The palate is much more flavorsome. The green notes come through alongside the rose which balance each other nicely. There's a nice viscosity on the palate.
- Finish: The finish is pleasant and slightly sweet.
- Distinctiveness: Very distinctive and iconic! The cucumber rose combo started here.
- Overall Drinkability & Balance: The gin is clean and versatile - anything cocktail with citrus would be fantastic, however, stirred down, spirit forward cocktails might be a bit more complicated due to the botanical set.

Comments / Notes:
Three things to remember about this gin:
Infused with Cucumber and Rose – Unlike most gins, Hendrick’s uses cucumber and rose petals post-distillation for a uniquely fresh and floral character.
Dual Distillation Method – The gin is crafted using two different types of stills (a Carter-Head and a Bennett still), blending the best of both to create its smooth and complex profile.
Born in Scotland – Despite its botanical-forward nature, Hendrick’s is distilled in Girvan, Scotland, at a distillery best known for producing whisky.
Food Pairing Recommendations: Sushi
