Peat & Maltings Source: Torabhaig sources their malted barley from Crisps Maltings in Port Gordon. Their barley is sourced locally with the peat coming from the Scottish Highlands.

Second Legal Distillery on the Isle of Skye: Torabhaig is only the second legal distillery to open on Skye, following the well-known Talisker. It began operations in 2017, making it one of Scotland’s newer distilleries.

Converted 19th-Century Farmhouse: The distillery is housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century farmstead, blending tradition with modern whisky-making methods, adding to the charm and uniqueness of its operations.
